What to Expect in Outpatient Rehab
When you enter your outpatient period of recovery, you will be provided with a wealth of support resources. You will be connected to one or more addiction recovery support groups.
You may be assigned a sponsor, counselor, or other helpful contacts who can help support you in a number of ways.
If you are taking medications, either as a drug replacement therapy or for other reasons, your doctor may work closely with your recovery team to make sure that everyone is on the same page regarding your treatment.
As you move forward, you will learn to cope with the temptations that come with outpatient treatment, and with time and effort, you may finally become addiction free.
