Healthy eating isn’t so hard if you have a healthy nutrition plan loaded with tons of great snacks. Here are just a few awesome recipes that are as good for you as they are yummy.

Popcorn Balls. – Popcorn balls are a super delicious snack that you can make super easily. Take one tablespoon of canola oil, three tablespoons of unpopped popcron kernels, two tablespoons of unsalted butter, two-and-a-quarter cups of mini marshmallows, one cup of honey-nut toasted oat cereal, one ounce of pretzel sticks that have been broken up, and a quarter-cup of chopped dry-roasted peanuts. Heat the oil in a dutch oven over medium-high heat, and pop the kerns, covering it and cooking for four minutes. Then, melt the butter in a pan over low heat, and cook the marshmallows for about two minutes. Take it off the heat, add the popcorn and the other ingredients, and let it stand for about two minutes. Then, cut it into balls and enjoy.

Hummus. – Hummus is an quick, healthy snack that’s great to have before dinner. You’re going to want a quarter-cup of fresh lemon juice, a quater-cup of cup tahini, about three tablespoons of olive oil, half-a-teaspoon of salt, two 15-ounce cans of chickpeas, one crushed clove of garlic, half-a-teaspoon of paprika, some fresh chopped flat-leaf parsley, one tablespoon of toasted pine nuts, and five tablespoons water. Put everything but the paprika, parsely, and pine nuts in a food processor, and blend it until it’s smooth. Then add the spices, and enjoy with pita.

Smoothies. – There’s nothing like a good old smoothie when you’re in need of something tasty and cold. Just take one cup of frozen raspberries, one cup frozen strawberries, one cup of orange juice, half-a-cup plain Greek yogurt, and two tablespoons of agave syrup. Put it all in a blender, and let it blend until it’s smooth.
